My mom and I plan on starting early March, NOBO! I am super excited. Just working all the bugs out of our gear and planning.
Departing NoBo April 14. Going to gathering in West Virginia this weekend to finalize plans with my partner Gramps and test some of the gear. I think all that is needed is to walk and wait for spring.
Land Shark on the move. If any one needs help or advice please ask. Will have trail magic the whole way from start to finish Captain PITA (wife) and Hill (daughter) will be there to assist. Will be in a kilt and usually running. So when you see the clown please smile for I will always have coffee and blueberry.

I'll be starting from Springer March 15th. I'm taking the year off school to hike. I'm 21 and would definitely hook up with someone to hike with from the get go.
I'm pretty slow myself...am looking for a hiking partner at least in the beginning.
I'm thinking 3-20 or 3-27. I'm just going to watch the weather. Slow is a great way to start. Can't wait! Equal parts scared and excited!

I am starting in Mid march. I am close to the At here in Virginia. It's still windy and crappy in this part still in March. I was on a section in march at it was howling at night.

Starting Date
I plan on starting at Springer some time about the end of next month or the first week in March. I plan on doing 8 to 10 to start and build up back to back 20's by the first three weeks. PM me if you wish.

my plans have been changed. i will now be startingg twords the end of march because a friend of mine is finally done with the marines and it was something me and him always wanted to do. hope to see you on the trail
