    I know a lot of people have been blown away by this...but three threads?
    Love people and use things; never the reverse.

    Mt. Katahdin would be a lot quicker to climb if its darn access trail didn't start all the way down in Georgia.

    Mt. Washington loses it's bragging right...I always wondered how accurate the wind reading actually was from back in the 1930's...

    it took a CYCLONE down under to break that Granite State Record! The NH record was just good ole wind

    That's what I think the difference should be. You would have higher winds inside a tornado, did they count those, NO. I still have to give Big George the upper hand.
