New white mountain winter record

I am not a trail runner or ever will be, but FYI

The new winter 48 four thousand footer record was completed a few days ago, 7 days 17 hours. He cut about 2 days off the record. A few folks with him also beat the old record.

They did have the advantage of a lot of folks breaking out trails, but I live nearby and they had a fair share of winter conditions.

i've been following that... those guys are nuts! they have pictures of them three huddled together smiling with frozen boogers and frost on their coats. my respect to those guys!
