Hey Big Tiger! I bet the good folks at Amicalola State Park know. Same for the Georgia AT Club. You can tell that I really believe in going directly to "the horse's mouth" for real answers.

I got a report yesterday from the Hike Inn along the approach trail. They said they had 2 inches on the ground there yesterday. Might be a little deeper up on the top.

Was up there on the 16th. There was a lot of snow up on Springer, enough that we decided that it was too early to start our thru. Had trouble finding the Plaque.

The temps have been up to the mid 40s this week with a high in the upper 50s forecast today. Most likely everything will be melted by this Saturday
The trail was here before we arrived, and it will still be here when we are gone...enjoy it now, and preserve it for others that come after us

There was a foot at the parking lot north of Springer yesterday.
The trail is ever winding and the party moves every night.
