That was taken after a cold PCT trip we did. I think I took that photo Krain's Corner is this greasy spoon in a historical farmhouse - it is all that is left of the community of Krain. It is on the way back from Mt. Rainier. A totally awesome place to eat at and if you smell really bad they give you a wing to your group to loiter in so the tourists don't have to smell ya

I think we also had deep fried mushrooms and I had a onion patty melt. With homemade meatball soup. They serve everything with this thin buttermilk dressing to die for. Oink!

You calling me slow? Okay, I'll concede that one. Seems like a good idea. I may try to hit Dicentra up if I start getting sick of my food and my mom isn't up to preparing these...and she probably isn't...there's no way in hell she'll crank up a dehydrator in the house. I personally love the smell...I used to hang my military uniform next to my dehydrator when I made jerky so I could enjoy the smell of it all day.

    No cookin required....Walk on!
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

Allow me to intervene. That is not food porn. If there's even a way to describe that, it would be something more like '2 girls 1 cheeseburgerpizza scatfest'.
"Do you believe in an afterlife?" the gunslinger asked him as Brown dropped three ears of hot corn onto his plate.

Brown nodded. "I think this is it."

With reguards to the pasta do you use angel hair because it's a little faster?
    yes. Exactly.

Or I cook and then dehydrate various shapes - elbows, shells, rotini. My favorite is the wagon wheels.

Hubby got mad at me last time I did a full run (8 trays worth) of mushrooms in the house. Oops!! I'll do those outside from now on.

It is assumed you are going to have a burger, you have a beer ON DRAFT.

Besides, it's food porn..not "drink porn".

More food porn (as described my me earlier)...

Go to Oskar Blues and have my Favorite. Burger. Of. All. Time.

THE SILO BURGER. A half pound of beef. Topped with pulled pork. And bacon. With pepperjack cheese. And hot sauce.

Order with sweet potato fries. Order the burger medium rare so all the juicy goodness goes over the fries while you are eating it. Mmmmm....

Many people in Boulder pay hundreds of dollars (if not thousands) to achieve enlightenment. I have found it for $15 (order with an Old Chub..again, see previous posts about salt and pepper/burgers and beer analogy). If hiking all day in the backcountry and then having a burger with three different forms of meat, followed by a delicious beer, is not Zen
than what the hell is ?!?!?
