Smile Another insole thread--Special heel insert

This website sells a heel insert that is difficult to find. It is call a varus/valgus heel wedge. It is for individuals who bear too much of their weight on the inside or outside of their feet.

    http://www.feetrelief.com/feetrelief...heel_wedge.htm

I received my order promptly. I think the inserts will be durable, but I haven't had these long enough to judge their effectiveness.

Note that I've only had one (positive) encounter with this company. Also note that the website recommends checking with your doctor or podiatrist before using these.

Anyway, I hope this information is useful.

I did it. I said I’ll do it, and I’ve done it. [after she summited Katahdin] –EMMA ‘GRANDMA’ GATEWOOD

You can't go too wrong with SuperFeet. The green version works well for hiking, at least for me.
