I just sold this bag to someone on Craig's List. For the price I was impressed with it. I ended up using it around -5C and survived without too much hassle. I wasn't comfortable, but it kept me alive, which is the real requirement for a temperature rating. I've definitely had worse nights. It also got wet and still performed admirably. It'd be heavy for a thru-hike though. I sold mine so that I could upgrade to a lighter bag. It also seemed to take up a lot of space. It'd be the perfect car camping sleeping bag though.
