    Default Porcupine 1 - Dog 0

    A pitbull was in his backyard in southern California , minding his own business, when a porcupine invades his territory. The brave but stupid pit bull immediately challenges the porcupine...


    A vet sedated the dog and then removed a total of 1,347 quills.The dog survived...

    Ouch!!!!!!!!! It looks as though the quills are in his eyes too! Poor dog, I'm sure he lost some if not all his sight.

    After going through all that I hope he got that little sucker!

    Given the extent of the quills, I would guess that he hit the quills, and didn't back off. Discretion is the better part of valor.

    With out intervention my guess would have been a case of natural selection.

    I cannot imagine the cost of the vet bill.

    IMO many breeds of dogs are smarter than humans. Rocks are smarter than Pit Bulls.
