    Default Custom Hiking wedding rings

Does anyone know of a good Jeweler or Silversmith who could make us some custom hiking wedding rings?

    Default An Idea

Last time I was in Asheville, NC I happened to notice this store: http://www.jewelsthatdance.com/cerem.../wedding-bands

Check them out they have a mountain type ring that might be somthing close to what you are looking for. If not I'm sure if you get in touch with them they would be able to create what you have in mind.

I also have some friends that purchased a piece from them and they love the store and the craftmanship of the ring.

    Good Luck!

If you're looking in Asheville, stay away from Blue. They only do a good job for their very upscale customers---otherwise it's so-so for a huge price.

What exactly are hiking wedding rings? Rings with a hiking theme? Do you have something particular in mind?

make sure they are multi fuctional and have sections to them so you can leave part of them at home when you want to hike with less weight, or can do a mail drop of part of them to make your load lighter...
The possitive friction created by the interaction of two or more energizes us to grow.

We were hoping to have sterling silver with a couple of hiker silhouettes on each.

If you can draw your idea, or have someone else draw it for you, a lot of jewelers can design a ring for you. Will be more expensive but some think it's worth the price.

There's a middle eastern guy down the road from me who made rings for my wife and I based on a drawing she made. Fantastic work. He really enjoyed making them too (I guess it was something out of the ordinary for him so he liked the challenge) and took pictures of the finished products to display in his store.

Pawn shops can be fun places to pick out wedding rings.
The salespeople are alot friendlier, and very reasonable.

Doesn't hurt to do a little urban hiking together and see what you might find.
    Could be fun.
