water twixt hot springs and davenport gap

hello,

looking for advice on water supply on the 75miles between hot springs and davenport. notice much of the AT in this section is along the ridge where maps show no streams. would like to only carry a liter of filtered water max at any time (except for campsite). thanks

Actually, there's only 35.8 miles between Hot Springs and Davenport Gap. With lots of water sources, both springs and streams, between them. I counted eight real quickly in the On-Line Companion. There may be more.

Several good sources. Roaring Fork for which the shelter is named is gorgeous.
