    Smile Heading to Maine tomorrow

Well, the time has come. The trail calls, and of course, one must go. We had a great time doing some prep hike around the Lake Louise area in Canada. Now back, we are finishing up other prep work before we head to Maine tomorrow. We plan to meet up with a hiker we met in SNP - Mailar, who has graciously offered to shuttle us and place a car for my hubby. We arrive at KS on June 30th and begin the hike July 1.
Marta, I'll be thinking of you, gal. Great advice you gave at Trail Days.
To my fellow SOBOers - hope to see some of you either up north or later in the fall when I head down to southern VA and beyond (as I have completed HF to Troutdale)
To the NOBOs - hope to run into those I met in late April and May.
To my WB buds, miss you guys and gals already. Will report in on the member report forum when I get a chance. You can also follow me on Trail Journals.

We have high water up here now due to the torretial rain we got yesterday and all day today...be careful, trail will be very wet/muddy and water crossings I hope will drop by the time you encounter them.
Do one thing everyday...that makes you happy...

What a mismatch! Too bad the rain wasn't distributed more evenly, e.g. some to PA: http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?t=62515

Have a great hike. I will be about a month and a half behind you. I look forward to reading your journal and planning my hike accordingly.

Enjoy yourself. Hike your own hike. . . Now where did I hear that saying before.
Getting lost is a way to find yourself.
