Thread: Rutland Hostel

  1. #1

    Default Rutland Hostel

Many Long Trail and A/T hikers will stay in Rutland at the Twelve Tribe hostel without being aware that it is run by a hardcore religious group. As there is both good and bad connected to this group, which clearly has an agenda, I am opening this thread for feedback and informational purposes. There is at least one such thread at the regular Whiteblaze site. There are no other hostels in Rutland at this time to my knowledge.

They will be at the Long Trail Festival August 7th. Come and talk to them instead of getting opinions from people who have never met any of them.

What do you consider surviving? If you cut your ties to friends, family, yea your still alive but what is left?

Most male hikers should enjoy their stay at Twelve Tribes. The females are treated as communal property.
