if you had the scale available, you could have just weighed your water bottle yourself.

I think you are mistaken about dry weight / liquid weight. Weight is weight (actually weight is the force exerted on a mass by the gravitational attraction between that mass and the earth, or whatever planet you are on at the time, but it doesn't matter if it's liquid or solid.) Maybe you're thinking about dry and liquid measuring cups. That's a whole different story, though.

Just carry dehydrated water. It weighs less. At he end of the day, just add water to rehydrate it..So easy, a caveman can do it.

Be careful with that! I read somewhere (Probably WB) that dehydrated water can cause cancer!

I heard that using dehydrated water without rehydrating it can cause serious medical issues such as this one really weird one called De-hy-dration...
    Scary, huh?

What's even more frightening is what happens to a person when they drink a couple gallons of dehydrated water then re-hydrate it inside themselves. 'Taint pretty!

Got this back in the early (!) '70's. No expiration date, so I hope it's still OK.

Well, duh, where do you think the term "dehydration" came from? From too much dehydrated water!
