    Default Wingfoot's Thru-Hikers Handbook

First time visitor to Whiteblaze. I'm interested in any and all thoughts and opinions about the the Thru-Hikers Handbook in the post Wingfoot era. Is it as good, not as good, or better than before?

Yeah, Bob's a great guy. I had the pleasure of hiking with him for a few days last year during the monsoon season in Maine. Quite a few hikers still use the handbook and swear by it.

I carry pages from this book to cross reference with the AT Guide which I also carry. At times one will have information the other doesn't.
