    Default Surprise Hike!

    A buddy of mine just called me up and asked me if I would like to accompany him and a few others for a hike in the Smokies the second weekend of August! I am off call that weekend, so all I gotta do is get the Friday off.

    He is wanting to just do an overnighter, and up a trail I have already been up twice this year, but hey that's ok. At least I will be able to get out! And I have only hiked up Alum Cave, never down, so there! Something new!
