I have to say Cody comes off pretty good in the TV show. He strikes me as methodical and down to earth, for the most part. I find myself rooting for him rather than the ex-military dude he's partnered with. I haven't read his books.

I doubt there's much of a market for non-lubricated Magnum condoms.

Looks like it's low budget science experiment time! Another fun test would be how much water it can hold and not bust when used as a water balloon.

Good luck finding a non lubricated xlarge condom. As far as i can tell, the only place around here they sell them is starship and I havent had time to go there!

There is a reason people use extra lube with condoms: they dry out sometimes.

Also, find out the lubricant and what kind of solvent you could use to rinse it from the condom and not break down the integrity of the material out of which the condom was made.

Bet you $5 you can wipe off most of the lubricant.

I have read both of his books. They are pretty good and have some good information but as a whole, they have a funny look at life and some wierd characters. Information is for the most part usefull but should be taken with a grain of salt. His style of survival and outdoor living is left up for one's own interpertation.
I myself am a former US ARMY RANGER and still stay old school and to my roots.
I did enjoy them tho and I would recommend them but as mentioned earlier, with a grain of salt.

I have read "When all Hell breaks loose". It's good. He has a slightly cheesy style of humor, but other than that it's a great read. I took a look at 98.6 but it's a little too simplistic for me. I already knew everything that was in that book so didn't bother buying it.

Yeah, I feel that too many hikers these days don't have enough survival skills. Even if you never use them, it's stuff that could save your life.
