iva bells hotspring??
can anyone tell me how far or how to get ti iva bells hotsprings from the JMT??
The hotsprings are shown on one of the pages of the Tom Harrison mapset, which I don't have in front of me right now.
I recall turning left down either Cascade Creek or Fish Creek (we were Northbounbd on the PCT at the time) to get to them. Then we continued on an alternate route into Red's Meadow. From where we cut away from the PCT / JMT it was probably 7 or 8 miles down to the hotsprings, the alternate route added a mile or two to the overall distance.
There is a creek crossing on the map isted as "Second Crossing" that was the toughest one I had in the entire Sierra.
I'll try to track down the map on Monday and get more precise info if someone else hasnt supplied it by then.
