    There are some wilderness areas, fragile campsites, state parks, and seasonal burn bans. Just check the ATC website, maps/guides, and shelter/campsite postings for exact details.

    Who doesn't enjoy 'hiker TV'. If there is a fire ring it is probably OK. Usually if there is a temporary ban then there are notices posted. At the risk of the wits here on WB, "Use common sense" Yeah I said it.
