    Default convert Sterno to alcohol?

Has anyone tried to convert a used Sterno to burn alcohol like the recycled soda cans folks have used?

I tried a few times using mini-cans of Sterno. It's easy enough to convert one into a "Plumber's Stove" http://66.39.74.171/makegear.html and scroll down the left hand side to 'Stoves'. I found other designs that worked better.
