    Default Springs throughout MD

    Just wondering with how dry it's been if the springs listed in guidebooks can be counted on? I was at William Penn shelter last week and the spring was down to a slow drip. I'll be hiking MD-WV southbound starting on 9/27. If it doesn't rain again between now and then should I have alternate water sources mapped out?
