Awe, I was hoping Zpacks had come out with a hammock. Not that I'd buy one though. We don't have enough suitable trees out here to justify getting a hammock.

It's still way to early in the technology for me to buy into it. I do know there is a sizable amount of people testing these things.

With some of the recent reviews on Spinn and reviews on Cuben, I'm gonna say a Cuben tarp is showing to be more durable and a bit more packable.

Definitely more packable. Here's a pic I took comparing Spinn vs Cuben:

Here's a few things to consider in this picture:

The Cuben is a larger tarp compared to the OES MacCat Deluxe Spinn Tarp

The Cuben weighs 7oz with guylines and stuff sack, the Spinn weighs 13oz with guylines and stuff sack.

I'm taking it out on it's maiden voyage Nov 20th for a 3 day hike. I'll see how it holds up.

The issue isn't so much with Cuben fabric as with the construction. Look for stuffsack/tarp/tent patterns that avoid needle holes at all costs, as those holes will expand under stress. Bonded seams seem to be the way to go, but that makes for a more expensive manufacturing process.
