    Default CW-X as backpacking baselayer

I've been using CW-X compression tights and tops as winter running baselayers for a long time and love them. Has anyone ever used them for cold weather backpacking?

I have never heard of em. Will look into them.
    Any particular benefits you've found?

You can try it. I've seen hikers wear tights. For me, I had issues with chafing with tights and hiking all day. I like to have air circulating.

I like their tights, seem to keep me from getting as sore after a big workout. Haven't hiked in them; don't see why they wouldn't work.
