I can taste it, like strong salt. I can close my eyes and I'm there, on some nameless mountain, realizing I've got six months of this (Lord willing) at hand. It's probably a good thing i'm not outfitted for winter hiking or i might be trying to start my thru now.

A smile simply comes to my face when thinking about it.
I know im going to make it, and that just brightens up my day
in the meantime, I am training in this lousy NY weather. Lol.

I can't wait to be out there hiking day after day week after week. I will be leaving everything behind so I can start the next part of my life with a bang. Hoping to meet up with all of you in June when I start my hike right out of High school in Va. Happy Hiking
