Default hikers await matthewski's 6000th post

children and there parents camping out for the release of the new harry potter novel were somewhat taken aback by hords of dirty hikers who decended on there campout to await the 6000th posting of hiker guru matthewski.
there is wide speculation he will speak on the findings anounced in congress this month that the correlation between unemployment and high post counts may pose a threat to real hiking.

I think your 6,000 post should be to help some worthy charitable cause.

Didn't I read about this post count attempt on a website? I think it was called The Initiative. Something about trying to do so many posts within a year without using a single capital letter. I don't know how much previous experience the OP has with this kind of posting but best of luck to him.

At 6000 Matt will be sucked into a black hole, when he comes out the other side he will be typing in all UPPER CASE. Either that or he will be teaching punctuation at Harvard.

I will settle for spell check.
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

"Spell Check" only works if a word is remotely close to how it may actually be correctly spelled.

I cannot leave the house til my secret smoker stove is finished but I will put on my hiking shorts and knee high gaiters and wait patiently by my computer till the big moment goes down.

Reading Matty's posts remind me of the following brain test:
I cdnuolt blveiee that I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd what I was rdanieg. The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in what oerdr the ltteres in a word are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is that the frsit and last ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can still raed it whotuit a pboerlm. This is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the word as a wlohe. Azanmig huh? Yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot slpeling was ipmorantt!

LW has averaged about 10 posts per day over last 8 years.
If he is hiking some of the time then must be doing a lot of posting on the other days. matties post average is significantly less.

    Just an observation
