Default 2005 AT Thru-Hikers who enjoy WSP

Just to let you guys know....I'm not saying you have to take off any hiking time or anything, but I thought some people who are hiking in 2005 would be interested to know that Widespread Panic will be having a number of shows along the east coast in the Spring. For those who are starting in late March, there will be some Atlanta shows March 24th - March 26th.

For those who will be in the Smokies, or just past them, in early May, there is a show in Asheville on May 7th.

    Just in case you're wondering.

String Cheese-Carnival 99' makes for great hiking music. That and Yonder Mtn. String Band's "Town by town" got me flying over the southern Appalachians!

This is the kind of hiking info I love to see. I can't think of a better side trip than going to see a show. For the one's of you that know these bands or even the type of music check out homegrownmusic.net . It's a great place to keep informed and buy kind music

    Willyhort0owz and Lone Wolf,

Willy, I saw RRE and the Recipe couple years back in Falls Church then in Philthadelphia the following night, Great weekend. I have no RRE music here though. Do you have any RRE shows you might like to trade for an Acoustic Syndicate show?

Lone Wolf, Did you ever get my message about a month ago? I have Acoustic Syndicate from Smilefest 2003. Do you want it? I might be up your way this weekend. I'm hiking this weekend I just don't know where yet. I might can bring it to you.

    Take care music lovers, Belew

Yes. That would be very cool. If you're here this weekend, David Via, a couple of Syndicate members, Curtis Burch and his wife and others are playing at The Old Mill Sat. night.

    Default Acoustic Syndicate

Cool outfit out of N.C. I saw them at the Albino Skunk Festival down here in Blue Ridge S.C. I do love the bluegrass, newgrass, hell any kind of grass I think it would be a nice addition to a thru hike to catch a concert on a break.
