    Default Getting to Damascus, VA

    Hey All, I'm planning on coming down to Damascus, Va for Trail Day this May and then hiking the trail from there to the MA-VT border. I'm trying to figure out the best way to get down there.

    I've seen that I can get a Greyhound bus to Bristol, TN which is about 28mi away. I'm going to look into the possibility of getting a taxi from there to Damascus. Any tips in that regard or suggestions of other ways to get to Damascus?

    lwolf shuttles are nice and mellow. no booze stops. no tip cup. no bad music. no ratty old wet car. no bad hiker snaks being pawned off on you. not to mention no speeding. no laundry stops . no box of steaming kfc with its rotten meat smell. lots of reasons to shuttle with lwolf and not bonzo.lol.

    I wish I had known lone wolf did shuttles before I showed up in Damascus this past fall. I plan to pick up in the spring either at Grayson Highlands and walk north, or 40 or 50 miles south if Damascus and walk into town...so I'll sure keep it in
    mind next time.

    Default Anyone have a number for a shuttle?

    Me too... Im in Atlanta now i missed my bus to Bristol and now i wont be arriving in Bristol till 10pm any rides avalible?
