    Default dehydrated sausage

Im giving this ago. Gave some thought and going to see how this comes out. Im grilling up some smoked sausage right now. Dice some of it up and mix with BBQ sauce (Graywolf Brand) and some spices I made up over the weekend. Then toss it in the dehydrator..

Just an experiment, Ill give an update later, but I'm thinking,

On the trail, a packet of BBQ sauce, spread and tortillias with teh diced sausage..emmmm. its making me hungry already..

I tried this myself recently, using chicken sausage. Turned out a little (ok, a lot) salty, even given the fact that most jerky is expected to be salty. Otherwise I thought is was good and super simple to make.

Please let us know how yours turns out (and what brand sausage you used).
