Default Anyone have any good links?

I'm eager to start, but worried about snowy weather. I'm a fast hiker too, so going slow to cope with bad snow in the beginning isn't something that I want to do. Anyone have links to good journals where people hiked through snowy conditions at the start? What's it like?

i lay my jelouse heart at all your feet. still beating, stillborn. i will endevor to live vicariously thru your hikes. remember well these words i speak here: nothing important or fun or even remotely interesting will happen here while you are hiking. be assured, the rest of the world beyond hikerdom sucks and will continue to suck in your absence. only you few brave souls will actually classify as alive during the period of your hikes. you may disconect your ambilical cords and switch to internal power.....now.

if the hikers would please turn over your left shoulder strap, i have placed a golden key there for each of you. it is the guest key to rm 23.enjoy. and remember, the drawer in the mirror in the hall outside 23 is filled with every concevable art supply and kite or frissbee fun for you to use.

The weather for a start the next 5 days is perfect. Clear with highs in the 60's.

Good luck - be careful and slow down on the ice. I don't think you can turn into a skid on the trail and come out of it OK!!

Matthewski, this may be the most well thought out meaningful thing I have read by you. I really like the "switch to internal power" line. Wow.
