    Default how to get home?

In all the preparation, training, buying, saving and reading getting home from a thru hike had never even crossed my mind. How did you people do it? The question was asked to me by a three year old so it shows you as you get older how much other stuff clouds your mind. I was actually thinking of just taking a job when I get to maine and working and save until next year and just go back. that would be amazing.

Sounds like you have a plan of sorts. Who knows what will come? Take a bus back if you have something to come back to, hitch back, maybe you will meet someone on the trail going close to your way and has someone picking them up and taking them home that would be willing to haul you back.

    Default Home bound

How to get back home from Baxter is well explained in Wingfoot's Handbook. Not a problem, really. Comfortable bus service from Medway to Portland and Boston.
