    Default Just a ramble....

Well, I've tried staying off this forum for the past few weeks, hoping to keep "Springer Fever" at bay. Didn't work. Maybe because it's Sunday and I have to work... I went out side early this morning and all I wanted to do was grab my pack and start walking. I mean in a bad way too!!

At least my job should be quiet today. I do I.T. support for a hospital. I can sit here and look at pics on whiteblaze all day. Might make things worse, but I just can't help it!

It's going to be about 3 weeks before I can get out on a short back pack trip. Going to be a long 3 weeks!!

Just wanted to share. Thought there may be a few folks here that understand. My co-workers sure don't!

    Thanks for listening!

The weather is good here in FL most of the time so we just do our hiking here and dream of going to the mountians. I do the same type of work as joe and I sit at the computer daily and wish retirement and the long trails I wish to hike were here now.
So it's not quite the same but it is a fever.

I'm a lucky man... Out the door on and on the AT (or any number of trails) in a few minutes.

BLAH BLAH and all that!!! Rub it in won't ya! haha...

I get out on hikes often, just not the good ol' 6 month thru that I've benn dreamin' about.

I'm about 1 1/2 hours from the AT, but think I can make it there in 1 hour if I wanted to.
