Met a hiker 2 miles from springer Monday I did not think to ask his name but he said he only had to hike the 2miles to springer and he would be done with the AT

I met Leap (nobo) in the 100 mile wilderness and we crossed paths several times between Sidney Tappan Campsite and Rainbow Ledges. He must've been on Big K last weekend. Still waiting for the summit photo!

Back at the end of Sept. I saw these folks not far from Abol: Tank, Elm & Oak (the twin girls) In Monson saw
Zeus (83) Loner Boner (70) Handstand (minus the mowhawk)
Last Wednesday on Hump Mountain:

Awesome to hear Stanley thermos was still at it in CT - Hiked a bit with him in Northern
Va in late May
Met "Animal", a flip-flopper two days ago right south of Mohican Center, NJ. He started at Harpers Ferry in March and then flipped in August to Mt. Katahdin heading south. He got caught the hurricane in Maine and slowed down quite a bit . He hiked till 8 PM the previous day before I met him. I hope he can make it to Harpers Ferry well before Christmas.
