parking at Blue Ridge Gap

How safe is it to leave car at Blue Ridge Gap? Might have that name of gap wrong bad but it is FS road before you get to Bly Gap

If not I know the owner at the last house and I can park there. thought if it is safe to leave car there would drive to gap and park.

Driving the last mile is fun. I left my truck there for the day. Can't say it is safe or not. However, since I drove a messed up Gray Chevy Blazer with FL tags, the locals had pity on me and when I got back they had actually put oversized tires on it and it was 3 feet higher off the ground! LOL
