Default Suunto Clipper L Micro Compass (Luminous Bezel)

I just saw this on Amazon as I was ordering a running watch:

Clips on to a watch band. Reviews suggest it's fairly accurate. Sounds like it might be handy. I used the slow, free shipping; I'll say more when it arrives.

If you want to save some cash, I use this one. I tested the accuracy vs. a higher end Bruton and it was pretty spot on. It is fairly clunky when used on a watch, but it takes up 0 space clipped on my bag.

Got the Clipper L. The luminescent dial is useful but ugly, so this is for my workout / hiking watch. It does seem stable and accurate, it fits on my Ironman watch band in a useful position, it's small and out of the way, and easy to see.

I'll have more to say after Friday/Saturday, but I'm guessing this is useful as a simple "keep your bearings straight" compass.
