The picture quality of your video is really good.
    Is it HD?
Do you use Mac or PC (My guess is Mac because I am having all kinds of problems trying to put decent quality videos on youtube with my PC software)

Liked the video. My wife and I are prepping for our first hike and plan on doing the same stretch. Can you give some info on where you parked, how you got back to your car and other logistics like that. So far I found this part of the planning stage to be the toughest. Thanks in advance

    Default Hey G-walk

Lyle here, from your Thru. We hiked together a bit in PA (during the flooding, Expressway hike )

Nice video, great quality. You planning to section the entire trail, or just highlights?

    Default Sure

Sure, I parked my car in Franklin NC, and got a shuttle from NC to Springer. Rons budget inn. Three hours, nearly, cost about 140. Hiked from springer on. You can resupply at Neels gap with no problem, about 30 miles in. Just hit them when they are open. There are road crossing for helan GA and Hiawssiae (Sp?) GA. I got a shuttle back to Franklin NC from Dicks creek Gap, (Hiawassie rd crossing) its a great hike, lots of ups and downs. Plenty of shelters. Have a good hike.
