    Unhappy Michael "Dancin Bear" Denaro passed away this weekend

    I've been in contact with his daughter and can confirm the passing of WB member (I don't know his username but the topic's come up a ton) avid Backpacker, AT Enthusiast and AMC backpacking leader Michael "Bear" Denaro unexpectedly passed away this Sunday in Long Island.

    Anybody who knew him that's interested in attending services can contact me and I will relay the information as his daughter disseminates it.
    up over the hills, theres nothing to fear
    theres a pub across the way with whisky and beer
    its a lengthy journey on the way up to the top
    but it ain't so bad if you have a great big bottle o'scotch
