NY/NJ Maps

Hi all,

I can't seem to get my hands on the NY/NJ AT map set. Are these available for purchase online anywhere (Amazon pricing is over $300)? Or can anyone offer recommendations on other means of navigating? I won't be bringing a GPS, but I was wondering if TOPO maps are available online as images?

Here's the link to the ATC store. It's unclear if the new ones are available yet or whether the old ones are still in stock so I suggest you call them.

And note that ATC members receive a discount. I encourage all AT hikers to join the ATC to help support the trail.

I've used them for the AT, and I was able to successfully locate my butt with a compass.

You can get the NY/NJ maps on DVD as part of this full trail package:

AT-TOPO

They include the recent Bear Mountain re-route.

The older NY maps are much better, imo. The accuracy was right no at road crossings for me
