    Thumbs up A.T. Bibliography

Linda 'eArThworm' Patton has compiled an extensive Trails Bibliography.
It's posted on Stitches AT99's webpage:

    http://friends.backcountry.net/m_fac...bliography.htm

www.backcountry.net is the home of the National Scenic Trails Mailing Lists.

Very nice - very helpful for the struggling student! Is this a labor of love?

    Default Expanded "Backcountry Bibliography"

Update on this thread. The 'labor of love' has been greatly expanded to include other trails in addition to the AT, and there is a new section of items on hiking skills. I am currently working on a list for the Long Trail of Vermont. The bibliography is at http://friends.backcountry.net/m_fac...bliography.htm but since Mara/Stitches is going to be traveling for several months and will be unable to update the bibliography, I will be listing new books at http://trailsbib.blogspot.com instead. I will put the Long Trail items there in a few days. Please let me know what trail you'd like me to work on next, or if you have any other ideas. Thanks.

Hi, Lion King. How be ya'? Your video is already in the bib. Look under Appalachian Trail--Videos. I wouldn't have left it out! :-)

In the bib. I have the address of Barking Harley Productions in TX. Should it be changed to the GA address? Normally, the address of the studio (publisher) goes in a bib. But I could add a second name/address just for orders, though I suspect people would normally go to Amazon.com or such to buy it. Whaddaya think?

    THANKS!

I would prefer if you used Campmor.com if people are looking to purchse it, and either addy be ok as we both spent a lot of the movie making money.

    I didnt see it, sorry!

eArThworm, I see in your backcountry bibliography you don't have either of Eric Ryback's books...

The High Adventure of Eric Ryback: Canada to Mexico on Foot. (PCT)
Chronical Books San Francisco, CA 1971

    or

    The Ultimate Journey (CDT)
    Chronical Books 1973

Ooops, I thought I had put them in. Am I in the twilight zone ? or had a senior moment ? Whatever. I just sent them in to Marta and she'll try to get all the changes in at once next week before she leaves for the CDT. Lucky her.
