A better question may be whether anyone messed him up. Would not even be a question if he was treated at a doctors office, clinic or hospital and reported the incident to the authorities. I don't know him and understand those that do and support him in spite of the circumstances.

I understand what your saying, it sounds alittle wierd to me but I hate to call anyone a liar. If it happened like he said then there was no reason to not go to the cops. I can understand that it would be an embarassing thing to talk about though, especially in a strange place.

he did go to a doctor. it was reported to the authorities. they are looking into it. also, elder went up and saw him the next day and can attest to his injuries and that they were not self-inflicted.
