im the pesty hiker been begging at your door forever
    i have a proposition lordski
hows bout you and me go together?
i could introduce you to baltimore jack tarlin
hes my fav hiker even though he smells sometimes
since your allpowerfull i was thinking......
you could crash the nations billing systems freeing everyone from debt,
heal sheneequa and cause her to attend
give trail angel mary my friend netas mouse quiet voice
make jester forget i owe him 70 bucks
make little one forget i owe her 40 bucks
make pat and vicky my mom and dad so the doyals my home too
make jesters mom use sugar free stuff in my cake
cause a truck to spill test strips and glucose out front my apt
suddenly cause a cold front so i can sell my art today
and finnaly, so the feed is big and attracts the crowds we had once, cause the sussquhanna to reverse cource bringing the attention of the world to bear down on dunncannon and make all the news trucks and hords devour all the food so the feed is their only hope.

Roots and SuperMax will be coming in late Friday night and will be willing to do whatever needs done on Saturday and Sunday. We will bring "lots of fruit" but we aren't sure how much would be enough, so we didn't mark it off the spreadsheet. Are we allowed to supply the hikers with beer?

I need a ride from Arden, Delaware (a few miles north of Wilmington, DE) to the Billville feed. I can help with gas expenses. I'm a nice guy and a well-behaved human being. If you are heading up there for the weekend and can let me hitch, please get in touch. Thanks!

I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in.

Alcohol is not allowed in the park. Which may help explain why there were more folks in the Doyle Friday afternoon than at the park.

Actually, I did a story on the Billville feed a couple years ago. And have written about the Doyle and Duncannon (scroll to page 7 on the link) a couple times. I just drove up yesterday to drop off cookies my daughters made. And since I was already in town, stopped at the Doyle to grab a burger and say hi to Pat and Vicky. Was also lucky enough to meet Miss Janet, who I had heard so much about but had not met.

Might also go back this evening to see the trailangels film they are showing, and Jester's PCT film.

Wow, for a minute I was afraid you might have been lured to the TRAIL.

The trouble I have with campfires are the folks that carry a bottle in one hand and a Bible in the other.

Yes, my provider was hacked last spring. (Network Solutions) ... caused a lot of problems for a lot of folks' Web sites. I was using Wordpress at the time and apparently there was a vulnerability that got exploited. Long since fixed, but it was a pain in the rear.

Looked like a good time was had by all. Especially enjoyed the dance by class of 2011. Three cheers for Trailangelmary, Mtn Rose, and Little Bird who spent more time in the park kitchen then anywhere else. Good job ladies!!!!!

Just got back from Duncannon. Mary and her crew (mostly 2011 people) knocked themselves out.....great times, great weekend, thanks to everyone who attended and to those who helped out in any way. Big thank you to so many local folks, Duncannon businesses, Pat and Vicki at the Doyle, etc. who all helped out in all sorts of ways, and as always, to Jester's Mom (who really needs to be running a bakery). The 2011 hikers are really a great group of people and it was wonderful to be able to spend time with some of them again.
