I have a 2008 edition of thur-hiker handbook. Is tere anyway to get updates for the town services part?

Mountainman,

in this down turn economy many businesses are closed that were open in 2008. With simple advice you need to get a new book. The Thru Hiker hand book wasn't in print this year but the Appalachian Guide and the Hiker companion are both available online and thru White Blaze here also.
