15 minutes (outside of Giardia), but is this the case for the tablets?
If the liquid is required to start the reaction, how is that accomplished with the tablets. Just want to know if they are interchangeable!

Actually, Aqua Mira liquid takes 35 minutes to purify other than Crytosporidium. Five minutes for the reaction of Part A and Part B before adding to the water, then 30 minutes before you should drink the water.
Cryptosporidium is quite rare in the US, so I don't worry about waiting the four hours it takes to destroy that risk.
My Aquamira drops say it is a 20 minute process. Wait 5 minutes after mixing the two liquids, add it to the water and wait 15 minutes after that. Also Aquamira is spelled as one word. At least this is what it says on my Aquamira bottles.
