Could you clarify your message a bit?. There are AMC "Huts" and there are shelters on the AT. The AMC huts are "full service" whihc means a place to sleep, blankets and two meals a day. They are very expensive (over $100 per night)and require reservations, although they do offer limited accommodations to thruhikers on a space available or work for stay basis (they are usually full unless the weather it real bad). As mentioned, Madison Hut, Pinkham Notch and Carter Notch Hut are north on the AT from Mt Washington. There are also some "camps" off the trail owned by Randolph Mountain Club, called Crag Camp and Gray Knob, they are $18 per night and do not serve meals. RMC also has the Perch which consists of a three sided shelter and some tent platforms, there is a also a charge ( I would have to look it up). None of these facilities allow reservations. The perch is quite popular for youth groups and is full most of the summer. Finally there are shelters along the AT similar to the ones along the rest of the trail . The closest one north of Mt Washington is Imp shelter. The next three north are Rattle River, Gentian and Carlo Col. There are also a couple of tent sites, Valley Way (near Madison Hut) and Osgood in the great gulf.

Unlike other areas of the trail, opportunities for just finding a legal flat spot with enough space for a small tent is tough up high. Most of the time you have to drop down off the trail 1 mile and a 1000 feet of elevation to find much for camping spots.
