    Default Guyot Shelter Hammock Question

Does anyone know if the trees at Guyot Shelter have the right diameter and spacing for a hammock?

Need about 4-6 inch diameter and a 12 foot spacing.

The shelter is at 4010' elevation and might not be low enough to support the trees I am looking for.

    3200' - 3500' typically seems to be cut-off.

    Thanks.

I was there 3-4 years ago, and my memory is that the trees are pretty skinny. It's not that far below the treeline.

I stayed there 2 yrs ago, and if I remember correctly, there were enough trees big enough to support a hammock

There are definitely enough trees there, and with a little looking you could find a place.
