Default Weather and Peter Palmer's Successful 1999 AT Speed Hike

    Here is the address: http://www.aldha.org/speed99.htm

Note, the May start date northbound and the part about lack of rain. His attempt and Jennifer's are very similar in that they both had wonderful weather. I'm not sure how much wetness Thompson had to face.

99 was a good year to avoid rain. From Damascus to the 100 Mile Wilderness, I can only remember being rained on maybe 6 or 7 times.

I met Pete/Cujo just north of SNP the day after Memorial Day at a small hiker feed.
If people spent less time being offended and more time actually living, we'd all be a whole lot happier!
