    Default slammed!/dri ducks

we are getting slammed here where i live..... tried on my new dri ducks... they held up great with one excepition.... the rain finds its way thru where you zip it up... wish it had some velcro strips to hold the seam part over the zipper.... but they are doing a good job.... oh yea... wish it had pockets.. but for 21 bucks, and as lite as they are.... there're ok... 70/80 mile hr. winds!

I really dislike velcro. Grabs socks. Sounds like those are worth $21!

Velcro is amazing stuff. Some uses of it are inappropriate, but that doesn't negate how useful it is.

Get some self-adhesive velcro dots and apply them yourself. Three or four will do and add virtually no weight. I did this on generic Walmart Frog Toggs a few years ago and worked like a charm.

If the self-adhesive doesn't hold, for some reason, place a dab of seam sealer as glue. Love that trick.
Fear ridges that are depicted as flat lines on a profile map.
