Looking for an affordable sleeping bag! HELP!

Ive been doing a lot of research these past few weeks. Im trying to find a 20-30F sleeping bag that is decent all around. Light, warm, packs small, and comfortable. Though it seams there is not much to be found in my budget range. I have at the most 100 dollars to spend. Does anyone know of bags below one hundred that are still really good. Im hoping for something under 3 pounds since I am planning to hike the JMT.

IF there is something around 130 or so that is really great itll be good to know about.

Campmor 20* down...VERY close on price, well built good bag.

+1 on campmor. The only way you're going to hit your target price is used or by watching Steep and Cheap like a hawk. The Steep and Cheap notifier for firefox helps with this.

+2 on the campmor. I have one and have slept in it down to about 30 degrees and it was warm. Mine is a Rec. bag so I use it like a quilt in the summer. The mummy campmor would be a little warmer than the rec. bag.

+3 on the Campmor. It was my first down bag and it did very well on my PCT hike.

Note: The one I got was not side-baffled, and there was a learning curve when the down on top shifted to the bottom. It's a nice feature, allowing you to adjust for warmer and colder nights, but you need to know about it.

Good choice just keep it dry and remember wet means wet, not damp. Don't have one but know several hikers that do and they all love it.

I just got a Kelty Cosmic 20* for under $100 on amazon. I have not hiked with this bag but love it already. All my other bags are syns and way heavier.

It is a great bag. I got mine in 2003 for $110. They've gone up a bit.

That's the zero degree bag. They don't seem to be stocking the 20 right now. Hopefully that's temporary, or maybe a catalog error. Anyone who's interested should probably call Campmor.

I have a Campmor 20 degree down bag that I've only used 1 night. It was too tight around the shoulders for me but I'm a pretty big guy. 6'2" and 235 lb. It's a long by the way so will accommedate up to 6'6". If you are interested shoot me a PM and maybe we can work something out.
