The trouble I have with campfires are the folks that carry a bottle in one hand and a Bible in the other.
You never know which one is talking.
Anyone know what his trailname is?

CVA equals stroke, just FYI
Sad. Glad he was in God's creation though.
How very sad. His daughter-in law reported that he has 6 children and 8 grandchildren. They were expecting him to be home on Sunday. The fact that he was absent from them for six months must make his passing all the harder on them. My condolences to all of them, life is too damn short.
Seek, and you shall find.
Buffalo Bobby, thru-hiked in 2003, 2007. Met him during my 2007 Hike.
OH NO!! I summited with Bobby in both 2003 and 2007! So sad. I didn't know he was on the AT once again!

Anyone with Buffalo in their name had to be a truly outstanding person! Sorry I never had the pleasure of meeting him. Safe journey to that great herd in the sky.
My warmest thoughts and prayers go to his family.

Aside from Bobby's quick smile he had a deep thoughtful side. He loved to plumb the depths of any subject and we would go on for hours.
The heaviest thing I carried was my attitude.
