    Default Still a bunch out

talked to some hostel owners today up here in NE and they reported that there are still alot of SOBO's up here. Alot of them got off trail when the Whites closed down and Vermont got hit so bad, but alot of them are back out and braving the weather and heading south. Some are bypassing the areas they missed in order to finish by Christmas

Still quite a few NOBO's this way as well.

Sorry meant to post this in 2011

I saw two at Harper's Creek shelter this weekend. One was rocking a 45 degree bag and wearing everything he had. He was pretty cold, and after "consultation" decided to regroup in Lexington for warmer gear.
