He was a mess - open sores, flea infestation from hell, ear infections, parasites - you name it. In only 2 months he's made a full recovery. He's amazing.

Drake sure is a beautiful dog, 10-K. Always respectable to find the rescue dogs!

Sometimes the challenge with the rescues is not their health, but their temprament? How is he adjusting to a stable home life?

Wonderful. It brings tears to my eyes to think how great it is to rescue animals. I have had 5 total so far. I love the new bumper stickers I have seen lately "Who Rescued Who?" That says it all. Thanks for sharing.

In my opinion it takes a very special person that is willing to do the work (and spend the money) required of a rescue parent.

The vet estimates between 5 and 7. Since his teeth are ground down to knubs she said it's hard to get a good guess of how old he is.
