Do Ohio University grads count? If so, I'm here.
Born in Lakewood, Ohio and raised in Rocky River. I left at 17 and, to tell the truth, I can't handle the winters anymore, but I'm still a Buckeye at heart. You can take the boy out of Ohio, but you cant take Ohio out of the boy.
I am working in Toledo for a few months, need to do a trip before it gets colder.
Columbus OH - Starting my thru hike April 2012.

Cincinnati here- always surprised to see how many Ohioans actually get out and hike!
Consider a thru hike of the Buckeye Trail. I just hiked it this year. It was a wonderful trip!
I read a good trailjournal about a guy from Ohio who was attempting to hike the AT in 2010:http://www.trailjournals.com/about.cfm?trailname=8446
I live in Union. It's just north of Englewood, which is just west of Dayton.
Columbus here. Anyone up for a little walk in the woods after Thanksgiving? Want to hit that section between Erwin to Damascus.
Don't let what you can't do stop you from doing what you can do.

Wadsworth here, pretty close to a few of you. Lived in monroe County for 10 years awhile back, never could find any of the longer Trails that were supposed to be in the Wanye NF, pretty country though, if you don't have to live there.

Delaware, Ohio. Just north of Columbus.
There are so many miles and so many mountains between here and there that it is hardly worth thinking about
